BY THE WAY, and this is very important.
back in the ancient days, when i fianally got up the nerve to post on the net as someone other than myself, i was simply "bunnyhugger".
later, as mistress spankcheeks may or may not remember, i finally became evil bunny, took on a different persona (sony boloney remembers!) and while being evil is quite fun, after the hip replacement, and my "10 reasons to know you're too young for a hip replacement" ms. baloney decided i needed to change my name. the two of us hemmed and hawed,  tossed out names, when "bionic bunny! hit me out of the blue! sony agreed it was perfect, and i have never looked back. since the surgery was in 1997,  i've been BB ever since.
when i met Lutfisk, she asked if i was named for another cartoon characther she was familiar with, but i was not.
SO... i DID do my research, and the library of congress would have stopped me anyway... i've heard of the cartoon, but never watched it.  after the obligitory wait, i was granted the copyright to both the name (lower case and first letter capped, and of course the drawing.
i don't mean to take anything away from the person who created something and did not copyright, and perhaps mine was graned for a different reason..
BUT, yes, i got lost on the way to my on blog today ( i TOLD you, i've never done this before!) and found an angry woman using my name. she doesn't seem to be hurting me, so i'll leave her be.
but if y'all see my artwork out there w/o the copyright....LOL
right now it's only available here and cafe press, but you still have to come here to tell me what you want on cafe press. unfortunately, the percentage of charity goes way down when ordered through them, (i can't bring myself to add that much money to their prices),  i welcome tattle tales (ooh, i didn't!) but only if it hurts my image. if you'd like to use the image for charity, i'm willing to work something out, AND, i'm trying to make some more simplistic images, some with full color, offer many products, and we are working on other designs. if you have a design you'd like to GIVE to he cause, that would be great, but be warned, i am not a 501c, only the folks i'm sharing the proceeds with.

of course, you can ALWAYS buy something just for fun!!

soon i'll tell you about the two newest girls to grace our home, pascha and kimba, and how they came to be with us. but i imagine they'll be some bitching in between. i hope to educate people about bunnies, but i also hope to exorcise a few personal demons in this blog while i'm at it.

i've never had a blog before, so bear with me, or bare with me, whatever float your boat. i have a lot of ranting to do, a bit of pleading, and with easter just being past, maybe a sales bitch, uh, pitch.
something got me going today, a very good friend with a family problem that touched a nerve- and the power of the women who joined together to offer advice and, most important to her, affirmation. i started out the day a litle weepy for her, and for me, then mad, then purposeful, because the health insurance system sucks, the people who prey on mentally ill people suck, and people that hurt helpless animals ALWAYS SUCK.
but, nerds rule, get one if you don't already have one, i highly recommend it.

i want to let everybody know that i'm working on getting an initial run on tee shirts done, and from what i'm finding so far, it looks like my initial hopeful offer to some friends of 95% going to charity is going to have to drop a bit. the first 12 shirts sold (i have to get 12 sold before i can order, folks), 50% of profit WILL  to bunnybunch.org, who IS an active member of HRS, and you are welcome to check them out.
i need sizes and if you prefer, colors, remember the final price will differ depending on all of that, 2x, 3x, etc. always costs more, and i am shopping for the best deal. right now i'm working with the original copyright, which you see on this site. i'm working on some options, and if anybody knows a jewler who might offer designing services for charity, let me know.
